It was destiny that Iron & Resin had a Ride and Shine scheduled for when myself and Cara were in California at the exact same time! We both love their stuff and I really admire their curating. It’s tops! Derek, also here for training like Cara, joined us for the trip up to San Francisco. I was super proud to drive us there with little help from the GPS, getting better driving around San Francisco. The shop is close to the TransAmerica Pyramid on the edge of North Beach.
If you don’t know, Iron & Resin specialize in high quality, American made and crafted goods. Mostly menswear, but a few racks for us ladies. There’s a lot to look at in the shop—my personal favorites are the books, camper blankets, the wall of photos and artwork behind the sales counter, and of course the gorgeous vintage motorcycles on display. It was a real treat to see the Iron & Resin shop in person and meet the folks behind it all.
Based out of Los Angeles, Yellow 108 brings back classic styles for hats, but with the added bonus that they’re made from salvaged and recycled materials. Elise was at the meet up making custom leather ties for hats and keychains and talking up their hats.
