Climbing above the canopy on a narrow trail that snaked around fern covered rock walls and redwoods. The tree trunks began to resemble dinosaurs!
I just wanted to keep looking up. The height of these trees and the fact that they had survived this long was unreal to me.
After the Main Trail, Ellen and I decided to get away from the crowds and head up to Camp Alice Eastwood. This was labeled a moderately difficult hike.
My fascination with the insides of the redwoods starts.
